Riding Equipment:

If you are coming for lessons or camp, we ask that you provide appropriate footwear for yourself or child.

Riding Boots

All riders are required to wear and provide appropriate footwear.

  • Examples include: tall English riding boots, paddock boots, cowboy boots.

  • Examples of UNSAFE footwear that are unacceptable:

    • tennis shoes, thick soled work type boots (with big knobby soles), rubber muck boots

Helmets

We do provide helmets to our riders. However, if you would like to purchase your own equipment, you may do so. Appropriate riding helmets (these are NOT bicycle helmets) are ASTEM/SEI certified.

Grooming Bucket

With concerns of COVID-19 and social distancing, you are also welcome to make your own horse grooming supply bucket. THIS IS NOT REQUIRED.

Items to include are:

  • stiff body brush

  • soft face brush

  • rubber curry comb

  • hoof pick

  • sweat scraper
